Help Advance Psilocybin Reform in New York!

Now more than ever we need community support as the June 4 deadline approaches. Here’s how to help move the NY Medical Psilocybin Act forward...

New York’s legislative session is in its final days, making this a critical window to speak up and help advance access to psilocybin!

Following yesterday’s update, we’re continuing to amplify and support the Medical Psilocybin Act (A2142/S5303) as New York approaches its June 4 end-of-session deadline.

If passed, this would represent a major milestone for the state and a meaningful step forward in the broader national movement toward regulated psychedelic-assisted therapy and expanded medical access pathways.

Now more than ever, your support matters. Here’s how you can help:

🍄‍🟫 Speak Up and Share

If you’re in New York: Please reach out to your state Senator and Assembly member to share your support for the bill. Even a brief call or short email can have meaningful impact at this stage. You’ll find simple guidance below to help you take action quickly.

If you’re outside New York: You can still play an important role by sharing this information with friends, family, or colleagues in New York who may be able to reach their representatives.

🗽 Key New York Legislators to Contact

One of the most impactful things you can do right now is take a few minutes to reach out to legislators from the list below to voice your support for the Medical Psilocybin Act. You’ll find contact information for Senate and Assembly members below, along with a sample script to guide your outreach.

📞 Use This Script to Contact Legislators

For those in New York making calls or sending emails, you can use the following script:

“I’m calling to urge leadership to move A2142/S5303, the medical psilocybin bill, this session. The bill creates a controlled medical framework focused on patients with serious treatment-resistant mental health conditions and reflects growing national momentum around evidence-based psychedelic-assisted therapy.

We believe the issue deserves full legislative consideration and respectfully ask leadership to help advance the bill before the end of session this year.

For many patients suffering from severe depression, PTSD, addiction, and end-of-life anxiety, waiting another year means delaying access to a potentially life-changing treatment option at a time when the mental health crisis continues to worsen across New York.

With the June 4 deadline approaching, there is urgency to move the legislation now so New York does not fall behind other states that are already advancing regulated psilocybin treatment frameworks.”

We’ll continue to share updates as things develop. Thank you to everyone taking the time to support outreach efforts and help keep this moving forward at a critical moment.

🎙️ Not All Microdoses Are Created Equal

Our co-founder, Paul F. Austin, is hosting a free live training on how to thoughtfully match microdosing to different client needs on Thursday, May 21 at 10am PT / 1pm ET.

He’ll break down key differences between psilocybin, LSD, Huachuma, iboga, and ketamine, and how to better align microdosing choice with intention, context, and client needs.

This is especially relevant for practitioners, coaches, and those working in or entering psychedelic-assisted care.
